Did you know that Pastor Bob Brite has a blog of his own? It’s called “Words from the Holy,” and it’s a devotional blog for people to use in various settings. The writings are written from the perspective of God writing a letter to God’s children. Here’s a sample from the latest blog post :
Dear Children of Earth:
You know, when I gave you that first commandment, I expected you to remember something. But you forgot to remember it! And that, my children, is the fact that the dominion “stuff” was supposed to be in a particular context: The context of partnership with Me. Instead, what you did then and what you’ve done all the way along has been to just try to take over your little planet. Instead of having dominion you try to dominate. Subduing your planet was supposed to be an act of understanding it and putting its pieces together, much like a puzzle; instead you take it as an act of conquering, beating up on the resources I put in it to support you.
