Pastor’s Lenten Devotional — Day 6

Monday was a semi-productive day; I’m trying to discern whether that’s a good thing in that it was semi-productive, or a bad thing in that it was only semi-productive.  In our society being semi-productive is looked down upon; we’re supposed to produce, be effective, accomplish, and move things forward.

The only thing about that is that sometimes you don’t know which way “forward” is; taking some time out to not accomplish, or just to think and reflect, is not a productive thing to do, but maybe it’s a necessary one.  So I guess I’ll give thanks for my semi-productivity, and chalk the day up to semi-reflection as well.
