Tyler Frankhouse joined FCC as the bass section leader in the summer of 2023.  Tyler Graduated College in 2014 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Music Education.  In the time after college Tyler worked with the Des Moines Metro Opera, Utah Festival Opera and Musical Theatre as well as the Nebraska Shakespeare Festival as a stage hand and Carpenter.  In 2016 He moved to the Minneapolis area to begin teaching in a small Rural Minnesota town.  After three years of teaching he decided to leave the field and found new work in IT Project Managements Operations.  He also sings with the Apollo Male Chorus and serves both on the board as 2nd Vice President and as the Associate Conductor.  Tyler is engaged to Gillian, and they have two dogs named Mike (12 lbs, one-eyed chiweenie) and Natalie (30 lbs, two-eyed mutt).  In his freetime Tyler enjoys photography, video games, walking around Minneapolis lakes, pivot tables and eating. Tyler has enjoyed being here at FCC with a group of talented and dedicated musicians that want to have fun sharing the music every week.
