It’s time for the Minnesota State Fair, FCC-style! While the ‘real thing” maybe cancelled this year (unless you were lucky enough to get one of those coveted food parade tickets), we are going to have State Fair Fun the FCC Way! Here’s what we’ve got planned:
Tuesday, 8/25 During Happy Hour (5-6 pm): Pick Up Your State Fair Cup
During our Zoom Happy Hour, swing by Pastor Laurie & Bryan’s house to pick up your Minnesota State Fair cup, social-distance style! Address and instructions will be emailed out next Tuesday morning. We’ll still be live during Happy Hour.
If you’re not able to come by their house, cups can be delivered (please let Pastor Laurie know) – note that we only have 100 cups.
Saturday, 8/29, 7:00-8:30 PM: “Show Your Best…”
This is your chance to show us your best flower, veggie, jam, animal, artwork, photography, baked good, crop art, cookie decorating…you name it! There will be virtual surprises during the evening that *might* include parades, rides, etc.
Thursday, 9/3, 7:00-8:30 PM: “____On A Stick & Butter Carving”
We’ll be looking for the best food on a stick, art on a stick, quilt on a stick (credit: Minnesota State Fair), and we can’t wait to see your best butter carving! There will be virtual surprises during the evening that *might* include parades, rides, etc. Also, this will replace Happy Hour, so bring your favorite beverage!
