Our mission and vision statement says, in part, “As disciples of Jesus Christ, who actively cared for all people, we strive to serve the local and global community, especially where there is hunger, suffering and brokenness.” This is an integral part of who we are – we care for those in need and do what we can to heal the brokenness in our world. Thanks to the generous contributions of our members, we feed hungry children and adults through Every Meal, Groveland Food Shelf, Agate Housing and Services, Simpson Housing Services and Minnesota Foodshare; we support LGBTQ+ youth through our involvement in MnSOC and our presence at Pride; we support people who are grieving through the Grief Support Group. These are just a few of the many outreach ministries of First Christian Church of Minneapolis. This Tuesday is Giving Tuesday and we invite you to consider giving an extra gift to support the many ministries of our church by using the special Giving Tuesday envelope on Givelify.
