Matta is an ordained Cherag (minister) in the Inayati-Chishti lineage of the Sufi tradition of Islam. They currently collaborate with the Center for Sustainable Justice at Lyndale UCC while ministering with the Dare to Bless the Love Community and serving as an adjunct faculty of Islamic and Sufi studies. Matta is a graduate of Marylhurst University (BA), Graduate Theological Union (MA), Luther Seminary (Mdiv) and is currently pursuing a D.Min. at United Theological Seminary. Rebecca is the Director of the Center for Sustainable Justice here at SpringHouse.
