Open/Close Menu An Open & Affirming, Welcoming Community of Faith in the Heart of the Twin Cities: Come to a place where you can explore, be curious, and ask questions.

You may remember last year that our Music Director/Composer-in-Residence Adam Conrad received an artist grant from the Minnesota State Arts Board to compose a concerto for bassoon.  Please join us Sunday, February 19th at 4 pm at SpringHouse Ministry Center for the premiere of “The American’s Defense” en electric bassoon concerto ( featuring Trent Jacobs and The Vintage Orchestra).  There will also be 3 other works presented:  Ponsford for solo cello (Dan Zamzow); Vignettes for string quartet (Josh Misner, Jeremy Swider, Benjamin Davis and Amanda Burgdorf); and Reminiscence by Allyn Ferguson (Adam’s grandfather, a noted composer for Hollywood movies).  Cost is $10 at the door.
