Seth Anderson-Matz is a queer & trans public theologian and community minister based in Minneapolis. Informed by Catholic, Unitarian Universalist, and queer & trans ancestral traditions, Seth works in close relationship with congregations, organizers, and artists throughout the country to proclaim the prophetic wisdom of queer & trans life, and to embolden our collective liberation and solidarity practices. Seth holds a Master of Arts in Religion & Theology from United Theological Seminary of the Twin Cities, and has served in a number of ministry settings including Interim Minister of First Presbyterian Church of Mankato, and Children, Youth, and Families Program Coordinator at First Universalist Church of Minneapolis. He has been working in queer & trans movement spaces for over 20 years, and has held advisory roles with several national organizations including GLSEN, the Trevor Project, and Advocates for Youth.
