SpringHouse is celebrating Earth Week April 24-30. Our theme is “Sacred Trust: Our Children’s Right to a Livable Future” – please join us in safeguarding our children’s, grandchildren’s, and all children’s future on planet earth.
- We are encouraging all voters in our SpringHouse community to sign a post card that says you our pledging to vote with the climate in mind this election year. Interfaith Power & Light will deliver these for us. Please share these cards with family & friends who are passionate about climate justice. They will be collected on 4/24 & 5/1.
- We have created earth bags with fact sheet, activity sheets, and plant supplies for our children & youth. In Sunday School we are reading We Are Water Protectors by Carole Lindstrom.
- We will have an earth week kick off after services on April 24th @ SpringHouse for kids to make seed bombs. Seeing how all children may not be vaccinated we encourage children coming to our kickoff after church service to be masked.
- Our SpringHouse neighborhood is having an Earth Day neighborhood clean-up on April 23 Saturday from 9am-12pm @ Whittier Park, other locations TBD. Visit the Whitter Alliance website for more information.Questions? Please email Kathy Hayden or text 612-209-9515.
