Our new pianist Yunyue Liu, a native of Shanghai, completed her master’s degree at the University of Tennessee-Knoxville under the guidance of Dr. Kevin Class, and a Professional Performance Certificate at the Conservatory of Music at Lynn University in Boca Raton, FL, under the tutelage of Tao Lin (2010). This past summer, she was apprentice pianist in Oberlin in Italy summer opera program. In the summer of 2014, she appeared in performances and master classes of German Lied at the Franz Schubert Institut in Austria. She is currently pursuing doctoral studies in collaborative piano under the guidance of Dr. Timothy Lovelace at the University of Minnesota.
